What Does a Chara Membership Include?
One question we hear often from families is:
“What exactly does our Chara Membership include?”
It’s a great question, because being a Chara member is about much more than access to a weekly dance class.
At Chara Christian Dance Academy, we believe families deserve to understand the why behind their investment. The cost of children’s activities can vary based on everything from class size and teacher experience to facilities, curriculum, performance opportunities, special events, and the resources provided throughout the year.
Our goal at Chara is to provide a high-quality, faith-filled experience that offers families exceptional value all year long.
More Than a Weekly Class
Your Chara Membership covers programming from August through the following summer session in July, giving your family access to opportunities throughout the entire year.
With our Family All-Inclusive Membership, families receive access to:
- Dance classes
- Music lessons
- Bloom Fine Arts Preschool Experience
- Special events and family experiences
- Discounts and additional membership perks throughout the year
For families participating in multiple programs, this can mean access to several weekly activities under one membership rather than paying separate registration fees and program costs for each one.
Benefits Beyond the Classroom
Chara families also receive additional perks designed to make participating in activities more convenient and valuable.
Members have access to Bravo Partner discounts at participating local businesses, along with discounted pricing on camps, workshops, intensives, studio rentals, and select special events.
We also offer membership discounts for first responders, clergy, Friendswood ISD staff, active military members, and veterans as one small way of supporting those who serve our community.
Your $25 Align Boutique Gift Card
One of our favorite membership perks is the $25 Align Boutique gift card.
We know a new season of activities can come with additional expenses, including shoes, tights, dancewear, and other dress code necessities. The Align credit helps offset some of those costs while giving families access to quality items designed to last throughout the season.
And Align isn’t just for dancewear! Families can also find athletic apparel, gifts, accessories, and other fun items in the boutique.
Because the membership fee supports the full collection of benefits, resources, and opportunities provided throughout the year, it remains a set annual investment rather than changing when individual perks are used. The Align Boutique credit is simply an additional value we love being able to give back to our families.
