Chara Christian Dance Academy is building a brand new music wing within its new Pearland location to develop budding musicians. Chara Music students receive one-on-one instruction from one of our highly qualified Music Instructors during a 30-minute studio lesson. Music lessons run continuously year round with a 2-week break in July.
Chara currently offers private lessons in the following arts
● Piano ● Voice ● Guitar ● Bass Guitar ● Ukulele ● Drums – now starting a waiting list for drum lessons
Chara welcomes students of all ages including adults! For the greatest growth opportunities we encourage Piano lessons for students ages 5 and up, String instrument instruction for students 7 and up, and Vocal instruction starting at 7. Our instructors will conduct an assessment the first day of class to ensure that they are set up for success based on their current level of development.
Chara Music Instructors work with students to develop their skills throughout the year, leading up to 2 concert opportunities. The first performance opportunity is our Christmas concert in December and the second is in held in May. Students who have shown progress and dedication to their studies are invited to perform one piece at each concert to demonstrate their growth. At each performance we offer the opportunity to contribute to a selected charity in lieu of purchasing tickets.

With backgrounds in multiple musical disciplines and decades of experience working with children, our teachers bring excellence and high expectations for all students. We start every student with a free trial lesson and a skill assessment so we can meet them where they are and help them grow confidently.
Currently, we only offer private one-on-one lessons. Each lesson is 30 minutes long and scheduled weekly. This format allows for personalized instruction and faster progress in a supportive environment.

Absolutely! Adults of all ages are welcome to take music lessons in Pearland. There are no upper age limits, and the program includes beginner to advanced instruction across all instruments offered.
