What Is Acro?

 

Acro dance is an eclectic dance form that combines classical dance skills with acrobatic moves. Acro is a dance form that has dance technique mixed with acrobatic movements such as balances, tumbling, and flexibility, all of which are done with control and fluid motion.

Most children can enroll in an acro class, ranging from 18 months to 2 years in our toddler class, all the way up to 7+. The level of each student, whether beginner or advanced, helps in placing them in their corresponding classes.

Most of the acro dance classes last for between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the age group.

Absolutely, private acrobatic lessons are also available for interested students who want extra training outside of their regular curriculum. You can book sessions of 30, 45, and 60 minutes with our amazing instructors.

Progress will vary from student to student, but provided regular attendance is maintained, new students will notice considerable improvement in strength, flexibility, and confidence within a term.
