Chara Programs run throughout June and July and include ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, leaps & turns, contemporary, stretch and tone, intensives, and summer camps. Friendswood summer classes are a 5 week session from June 18th – July 18th. In 2024 Chara is hosting 10 different camps during different weeks throughout the summer that run for 4 days, 3 hours per day. Save 10% when you enroll a second child in camp!
Barbie Dream House

Live out your dream as we sparkle and shine! Get creative as we craft, play, and dance to music from popular Barbie movies like “Big City, Big Dreams,” “The Princess and the Popstar,” “A Mermaid Tale” and more! Throughout the week we will focus on being who God calls us to be and how He has a perfect plan for each of us!
Bluey’s World
June 10-13 9-12pm
AGES 3 – 7
Join in the fun as we take on the roles of Bluey, Bingo, and friends by using both our imagination and curiosity to explore the world around us. We will play popular games from the shows including Keepy Uppy and Magic Xylophone, put on our dancing shoes to show off our best moves, and learn how to be a good friend.
In My Dance Era

AGES 5 – 10
“Shake it Off” and feel “Enchanted” as we explore a variety of dance styles and sing each day. We will learn about the best “Love Story” of Jesus sacrificing His life for us, make friendship bracelets, and learn Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, & Ballet at this Taylor Swift themed camp.
Once Upon A Ballet
June 10th-13th 1-4pm
AGES 3 – 7
Put your hair in a bun and wear your favorite tutu as we learn all about classical ballet! Each day will be themed around a famous ballet including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. The storybook character, Angelina Ballerina, will be our guide for the week as we advance our knowledge of ballet terms, steps, & miming used to tell the stories of each of these performances.
Enchanted Princess Tales
June 17th-20th 9-12pm
AGES 3 – 7
Let’s practice our princess skills as we go on adventures with Merida, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Tiana throughout this action packed camp. We will learn about courage and selflessness as we create, dream and dance!
Super Hero Academy
June 17th-20th 9-12pm
AGES 5 – 10
Put your super powers to the test as we use our energy to learn a Hip Hop dance, train to gain the skills we need for saving the day, design our own superhero attire and learn about the importance of teamwork. Our Biblical focus will be on putting on the armor of God each day!
Acrobatic Olympics
June 17th-20th 1-4pm
AGES 5 – 10
Learn all about teamwork, reaching your goals, and competition as we work together to become champions! Each day we will training in acrobatics, compete in games, craft and learn about Jesus, the Champion of the World. Parents are invited to watch our Final Acrobatic Event while we reach for the Gold!
The Gifts Within

This Encanto and Wish themed camp will help you discover how each of us are designed by God with unique gifts to use as we work together for His Kingdom. We will learn to trust God at all times to grant our hearts desires. Let’s make colorful crafts, dance to music from these movies, and play games with new friends!
Adventures of the Sea

AGES 3-7
Take a Journey both above and below water as we reminisce about the adventures of Moana, Peter Pan, Nemo, Ariel and their friends. We will learn about their bravery, imagination, and explorations. Crafts, games, and dancing will be themed each day based on these characters.
Boots & Boogie
July 8th-11th 1-4pm
AGES 6-12
Stamp your feet and slide to the right as we learn a variety of line dances. Wear your favorite western attire to dress the part and get in the groove. We will discuss what it means to trust God when we “step” out of our comfort zone.
