Your First Class is FREE

Kids shouldn’t have all of the fun!  Chara offers a wide variety of fitness classes for ages 13+ with our Fitness Class Card that gives you the freedom to drop in on a number of classes we have to offer. Cards can be purchased by registering below or by visiting the front desk.  Save more on classes as a Chara Member!! Your class card allows you to attend any fitness class as you are available without any monthly fees or obligation.  One card, any class!

Fitness Instructors

Heather is a certified personal trainer and has taught fitness to classes of all sizes in various settings.



Donna is a registered nurse and certified Pilates Instructor and has been teaching for the past 8 years.



Jackie has extensive Yoga Training and caters to all levels. She specializes in yoga for trauma populations.



Dionne is a certified yoga instructor focused on helping you with your mental and physical wellbeing.



Dominique is an experienced ballerina and instructor with us at Chara



Sara has been teaching HIGH fitness for years and brings a sense of fun and energy to the studio



Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

This Summer Mondays & Wednesdays 10 – 11am and Thursdays 9 – 10am

Instructor:  Dionne Gerety  |  Students:  All Levels
This class has its students dynamically linking poses together to create a vinyasa flow and incorporates yogic pranayama (breath work) throughout all flows. We cover balance poses, inversions, and backbends to increase strength and flexibility. Arm balances are introduced and taught throughout the yoga flows. No previous yoga knowledge is needed but is helpful. Pose modifications and advancements are offered and encouraged to fit the students’ skill level.

Fusion Stretch

This Summer Tuesday 9 – 10am

Instructor: Dionne Gerety  |  Students:  Beginners to Advanced
This class moves quickly and combines yoga poses, pilates, and barre. An emphasis on stretch is addressed after the body is sufficiently warmed up through yoga, pilates, and barre exercises. This full body workout is suited for all levels.

Strength & Conditioning

This Summer Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 – 11am

Instructor: Heather Smith  |  Students:  Beginners – Advanced

This class is a combination of strength and cardio training for a full-body burn. Workouts will include both upper and lower body conditioning, circuit training, high intensity intervals (high intensity movement followed by short rests) and supportive teamwork. Come ready to sweat and have some fun while we burn off those calories!  Bring a mat and resistance band to class if you have one available.

Barre Fitness

Offered during Fall Season

Instructor: Jackie Sarager  |  Students:  Beginner – Intermediate

This Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body, increase flexibility, and boost stability while engaging focused sets of muscle groups.

Mat Pilates

Offered during Fall Season

Instructor: Donna Blount |  Students:  All Levels
Mat Pilates is a method of exercise designed to improve core strength, flexibility, coordination and balance, and proper postural alignment.  It’s also low impact and making it great for all ages and fitness levels who still want to work and strengthen their bodies.

Adult Ballet

Offered during Fall Season

Instructor: Dominique George  |  Students:  Intro to Intermediate
In adult ballet our goal is to assist students in finding freedom in movement through ballet technique and to simply enjoy our time dancing together. Join us bare foot or in ballet shoes for a class of physical wellness through ballet technique and movement.
